It is my home and I'm absolutely in love with it. The place where it's not lazy to drop syllables; it's just our language, mateship is what we pride ourselves on and everyone knows the best sausages are cooked at Bunnings (hardware store).
There's a lot of ground to cover here and I'm ashamed to say I've not seen much of it in the 20+ years I've grown up here.
This expanse of ocean speckled with islands excites and frightens me; with more than 10,000 islands I fear I may never even scratch the surface!

When you hear Gold Coast, most will visualise white sand beach with a backdrop of high rises with the golden child Q1 front and centre – I want to give you some places to explore beyond that.
Palm Beach, Qld - I grew up being dunked on its beaches, grazing my knees and palms on its streets. It continues to grow and rise above what it was, realising its potential, and pulling more people in each year.
